lanolizing wool

lanolize? what is that and why is it important?

Now that you have found a super cute cover for that tiny heiny make it super functional too!

Wool fibers naturally fight odors and remain soft and breathable making it a perfect fiber choice for clothing--especially for the kiddos!  Because wool is also naturally water resistant to protect the sheep’s delicate skin, liquids cannot easily penetrate the fibers and can be wiped clean without needing to be washed after every use.

Lanolizing takes your wool cover to another level--a super level!!  You'll be amazed at how well your lanolized covers wick moisture away from that precious little bum AND keep the bedding dry!!
Can I get a whoop-whoop?!?!

And it's so easy!

Just heat 1 cup of water along with 1 tsp. of lanolin. Stir mixture in a small container and dissolve lanolin. Add the mixture to 8 cups of warm water. Soak at least 15 minutes-1 hour to allow the lanolin to be absorbed. Do not rinse lanolin out of the wool cover. Roll in a clean, dry towel to remove excess water and lay flat to dry.  Lanolizing your garments every so often will help to keep your covers soft and water resistant.
